Orbital Weld Training (SLT-SWS-00)
We are able to offer a number of orbital welding courses tailored to suit your requirements, from novice to experienced welder, we have a course for you.
Pre-Requisite
No welding background is required, but some courses would benefit students with previous welding experience.
Courses Available
Orbital Welding Basics (1 day)
Course contents:
- machine set-up
- operation
- programming
- weld adjustment
Orbital Welding Intermediate (3 days)
Course contents as basics, plus:
- fundamentals of orbital welding
- review of orbital welding and the equipment
- operation and troubleshooting (weld and equipment)
Orbital Welding Advance (5 days)
Course contents as intermediate, plus:
- inspection weld quality
- non-destructive testing (NDT)
- ASME IX/BS EN 287 submission and certification
NB. All equipment and materials for these course will be supplied.
