COVID-19 UPDATE October 2020
Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in the UK and also globally are impacting everywhere, as an “essential” business Swagelok London is still open for business to support key industries and ensure vital services are maintained.
So far, we have been able to minimise the risk to the health and wellbeing of our associates with the use of technology and therefore everyone who can work from home is doing so. Those associates who need to be at our building to ensure continued service to our customers are working within the strict guidelines published by the UK government.
Our warehouse are still receiving shipments daily from Swagelok in the US and also our regional hub, which they are able to ship to customers with minimal delay, whilst our fabrication and assembly team continue to build and test systems to meet demand.
Like ourselves, our manufacturing facilities in the US are also classified as “essential” businesses and are continuing to operate under the local guidelines to ensure that Swagelok products are available at all times. Shipments to Swagelok’s central warehouse are continuing from all our manufacturing facilities, although there is a delay of approximately 2-3 days on shipments due to air travel restrictions.
These are historically challenging times for everyone, as a business we need to continuously review the situation and government guidelines to ensure the risks to all our associates, and consequently our customers are minimised, however at the moment we are here and available for you. Should you need to contact us for any reason, our normal channels of communication are the most efficient way of doing so.
